The Small is Beautiful team of volunteers has spent the past nine months planning an incredible weekend of talks, workshops, debates and music. Although the path to an event like this never truly runs smoothly, we certainly didn't expect a General Election to be announced for the day the festival starts. We have had feedback from a lot of different people that this has affected peoples' decision to buy tickets, putting the event in a perilous position. With this in mind, and with just over two weeks to go until the festival, we want to ask for your help.
Here are 3 ways you can help save Small is Beautiful festival:
Buy your tickets by midday on Thursday 25 May
If you are planning to come but haven’t yet booked your tickets, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
We know that many of you are excited about the festival and were planning to buy tickets last minute or on the door. You will still be able to do that, but only if we sell a minimum number of tickets by Thursday to make sure the festival can go ahead.
If you haven't already got your postal vote sorted, there’s still time to send off for your proxy votes and join us from the Thursday night. Where better to watch, and take in the election results than amongst friends at the wonderful Centre for Alternative Technology?
With your help, we can do this! Huge thanks,
The Small is Beautiful team
